Advanced rescue
If you plan to visit some of the more remote cliffs of the UK, perhaps you have been on the foundation rescue course, or you just need peace of mind when you are out cragging with your mates, then this course is perfectly suited to your needs.
The course is designed to provide you with a robust problem solving system which is capable of dealing with a massive number of issues that can arise whilst out climbing/mountaineering. The underlying principle of the course is simplicity and the ability to deal with issues using only the things you would normally carry with you when climbing.

- Prusiking up and down the rope
- Escaping the system
- Hoisting
- Casualty management
- Evacuating down the crag with a co- operative casualty
- Evacuating with an unconscious casualty
- Lowering past a knot
- Abseiling past a knot
